Yo Earth- Part II

Yo Earth…. Part II

Good Morning morning, Ya’ll! Perhaps for some of you, it is evening! I wanted to let some time pass since the posting of my last blog….Let some things sink in. Now, I am going to clear some air. (Devilish grin)

First of all, I was just kidding about dropping the curse words. I only did that for shock value. If someone truly hears me swear, one would know, just as Jesus had a temper, so I am flaring mine. No one is perfect.

Hopefully, those of you who have kept up with my blogs, have actually realized that and know that the true gist of Part I was about relaxing a multi-diversity of readers, and encouraging people to understand, that God, really is a kewl person. Our path towards heaven is truly through happiness and enlightenment, no matter what our fundamental belief system is.

The basic idea is that we are all here to be happy. Period.  As long as we seek enlightenment, and practice the concepts of forgiveness, peace, patience, love, hope, gentleness, & kindness.  Each morning when I meditate and pray, I ask for blessings as I go throughout my day to enhance my skills in these areas. If I find that I am having issues communicating with someone, I try to take a step back and return later.

We all find ourselves in situations in life where feelings get hurt. It may be with a friend, a sibling, a lover, or former lover. One of my greatest spiritual growths occurred during my divorce, in having to actually forgive my ex for the horrific betrayals and not retaliate. Overcoming this blessed me because God’s love for life grew in my heart. Honestly, it was one of the hardest things I’ve had to do.

However; I have found, that when we find ourselves in these situations, and our feelings DO get hurt, we do have several options. Remember, WE are in charge of our happiness. YOU my friend, CHOOSE YOUR HAPPINESS!  Therefore,

·      You can choose to de-escalate a hurtful situation, and return later when things have calmed down.

·      You can choose to forgive – unconditionally. Remember, this goes hand in hand with unconditional love.

·      You can choose to pray for the other person’s spiritual growth and enlightenment.

·      You can choose to meditate; the answers will eventually come with regard to how to handle a situation.

·      Sometimes, others will attempt to tell you how you should handle a situation. It’s important to understand that their path may not be at the same growth level as yours. Perhaps, God has them in your life so that you can be an example.

If you are spending time reading my blogs, chances are, you have an interest in personal growth and spiritual enlightenment, as well as organic and nutritional living. I do not always have the right answers, but I will be honest and share inspired writings with you.

Forgiveness is not always easy. I know this. However, it is the first door to open on the path to happiness and stress reduction. Naturally, exercise and diet are second.

Guess what? Tips on those are coming as well! Hey, I don’t ALWAYS have spiritual blogs!!

I have to run for today my dear friends! Wishing you all love, light and peace,

Yo Earth….Wake Up Call

Yo Earth…. Wake Up Call

I’m one of those people, who, late at night, when there is nothing really going on, I can hear HIM.   No, I’m not crazy.  LOL … But… my son (now 19) who incidentally doesn’t believe in God; He would tell you “Mom, you are God’s ant under a burning magnifying glass, and He is just fucking with you.” Whoa!  Back-the-heck up!  A ‘minister’ dropped the “F-Bomb?” … Now, I’ll bet your mind is seriously spinning!   Yah, God’s popped me through some heavy challenges.  I started paying attention to ministry stuff when Sam Kinison was around.  Remember him, the comedian?  I thought he was so kewl.  I do occasionally drop an f-bomb here or there…especially during great sex.  Yes, I do that too.  Sam Kinison opened up the realm of ministry and the possibility that there is more to life, than straight talk, live in fear, walk the line or burn in hell ministry.  His father was also a minister.  Kinison was blunt, comedic, sometimes over the top, in your face. Me?  I’m just blunt.

It took a while, but I did finally convince my son, and some friends, that even though God has sent me down some really challenging paths, he didn’t burn me.  In fact, quite the opposite; for every adversity that I have had to face, He really has been there. Honestly, I don’t think I would be writing this today if my faith were not as solid. I HAVE to use the word solid because there are MANY times when being faced with a challenge and I have yelled, screamed, cried, and cursed at God.  Okay… who hasn’t?  Which child of His, has not damned our Father?  Then, laid in fear, begging and sobbing for forgiveness?

The point is…GOD isn’t this seriously wound up, judgmental, hypocrital entity that WE have created.  Oh, wait,  CHRISTIANS…. I know, you’re going to tell me, “Well, the BIBLE says…” Guess what folks…. I have read the “Bible”  I study the “Bible”, along with other theologies, doctrines, religions, gospels (did I mention that I have a PhD in Theology?) ….  To my CHRISTIAN friends…. Did you know that JESUS CHRIST (yah, remember him, He was the son of GOD?)  Okay… Him… HE actually had a PRETTY KEWL GOSPEL that he was teaching here on the earth.  JC was actually a POSTITVE THINKER!  Dude, nothing could drag him down!  Come on!  They nailed him to a wooden cross, and he KNEW days before that this was gonna go down!  REALLY?  I am not so sure I could deal with that pressure!  I ask myself a lot, if I could do the same thing.

Anyway, grab yourselves a POSITIVE THINKERS BIBLE (aka ROBERT SCHULLER BIBLE) it’s okay, you’re still a good Christian, and God will still love you.  Now, turn to Philippians. (pg 1293).  There is a story page in there where Paul is in the process of trekking on the road and he actually meets Jesus. At this point in his life, he is not yet an apostle, but a most devout Jewish-ROMAN scholar, and one that helps to prosecute and persecute anyone accused of heresy against Jewish law and tradition.

Now, understand, that Paul (then known as Saul) spent his ENTIRE life studying under this really famous Rabbi Gamaliel, learning ALL the knowledge, ancient laws, traditions, etc… so that he can help to protect the ancient beliefs handed down by his forefathers. So, Paul aka Saul is out hunting for bad guys one day on his way from Jerusalem to Damascus, and he meets Jesus.  WOW!  Imagine this!

This INCIDENT TOTALLY TRANSFORMED SAUL!  Right there, that day, he made the decision to change his life.

But guess what?  This change took 14 years!  Saul DID NOT become an apostle overnight!  (Yeah, studying this stuff all my life, and I just barely learned that last year.)  *An indicator of God’s unconditional love* …. Fourteen years it took to UNLEARN judgment, hypocrisy, and legalism!  Paul learned that the TRUE GOSPEL of Jesus was so simple: He had to learn 7 simple things while unlearning the non-positive influences.

              The seven values of JC’s Gospel are: 1} hope, 2} love, 3} peace 4} patience 5} kindness 6} forgiveness and 7} gentleness    THAT WAS IT.  Paul had to replace the negative concepts with this, and a new life was his reward.  By simply changing his thoughts and his actions, he energized his life and his being.  Jesus WAS the fulfillment of the law.  Paul taught, “Finally Brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, lovely, and of good rapport; if there be anything of virtue, and anything praiseworthy, meditate on these things-and the God of Peace will be with you. {Phil. 4:8,9}

One of the things we learn from this incident is that not only can man change, but it goes to prove a point made by Neale Donald Walsch (Conversations With God).  Walsch wrote that God spoke unto him and revealed that man (as He also told me) has things wrong.  God is NOT a judgmental, wrathful being.  He lives his experiences through us.   Additionally, when we CHOSE to come to Earth, we were given the Gift of Free Will.

Now, I know many of us should be removed from the gene pool, but come on…this is easy.  God is NOT going to give us a Gift of Free Will then PUNISH us with SIN and eternal damnation for messing up!  Hello??  Has anyone figured this out?

Friends, I have actually been to the other side a couple of times, via, the tunnel, and eek, once without. (I don’t recommend that route.) Those are other blogs.  Here’s the deal.  We HAVE FREE WILL so that we have the RIGHT to make our choices and LEARN from them.  GOD cannot be blamed for what happens in our lives, just like he cannot make a true love come back (trust me, I tried that one, too) – He WILL cry with you, hold you, show you the miracles of life, embrace you, and help you LEARN the LESSONS that YOU are actually HERE to learn!  (Holy Cow, there’s a thought!)

We are ALL going to make mistakes!  Trust me!  Jesus has made his share, I have made my share, I have damn sure YELLED and CURSED God; I’ve also curled up and cried with God.  Most ministers will tell you how PERFECT they are.  BULLSHIT. NO ONE is.  I am NOT going to tell you that I am.  I have weaknesses, (okay, fears) a few.  I have overcome many of life’s vices, and through the ‘lovely’ experiences that I have had, I have actually learned skills in which to handle many of life’s challenges, and now, thanks to God, I am equipped to actually help others through their ‘challenges.’  Wasn’t that nice of him to put someone here with such great experience?  =)

You know when you go to a doctor for let’s say, seizures, and you have them, they hurt, but the doctor tells you, “no they don’t.”

The patient responds, “yes they do.” The patient then asks the doctor, “Have you ever HAD a seizure?” to which, the doctor promptly, and indignantly responds, “of course not!”

“That’s what I thought!” says, the patient, walking out.

I asked God one day, “Why my life has been so challenging.”

He literally told me that through my challenges I am now an experienced healer.  Imagine my surprise!

Many of you reading this may be parents.  Try to think of how much you love your own child, or children. That incredible feeling when they do something so amazing, or when they reach a milestone in their life; think of the pride you feel.  Now, for a moment, let yourself think of a moment when your beloved child has yelled back at you, or called you a name, or perhaps hit you, or let you down.

It hurt, didn’t it?  You wanted to strike back, right?  But many of you didn’t.  Why?

It’s the same with God, and Jesus.  We are unconditionally loved and forgiven.  It is soooo simple.  If I could teach this concept to people, I believe people would relax and treat each other better.  People who want to love might actually take the chances and live life.   We are here to LIVE LIFE….TO BE HAPPY!  This is OUR PURPOSE.

We are not supposed to have hate, and greed, and the ugliness. Please reach out with one of the seven values to someone. If you feel down on yourself, remember that YOU ARE UNCONDITIONALLY LOVED, and even if you feel someone is not loving you the way you want to be loved, it IS OKAY to unconditionally forgive and love others. It’s part of our plan.

I leave you with these thoughts, and blessings for peace, joy, and meditation,

World Wide Meditation

Tomorrow at 6:00pm – Thursday at 3:30am

Location GLOBAL: Wherever you are on Earth AT SUNSET IN YOUR LOCATION

Created By

More Info
The next CONSCIOUS EVOLUTION DAY GLOBAL quiet SUNSET/FULL MOON RISE MEDITATIONS & GROUP HUG is Wednesday Sept. 22nd wherever you are on Earth at the moment the Sun sets & the Moon rises at your location…Here is a link to determine when sunset is in your location: http://www.gaisma.com/en/
The moment of the Autumnal Equinox is when the Sun crosses the celestial equator and enters the constellation Libra at 3:10 am Sept. 23rd in Greenwich, England. The word Equinox is from the Latin: equi= equal nox=night…the time of equal night…12 hours of daylight & 12 hours of darkness.
The Moon will be full at 0 degrees Aries at 9:18 am on the morning of Sept. 23rd in Greenwich, England, while the Sun is at 0 degrees Libra. Time to harvest the seeds that we planted during the Aries New Moon 6 months ago. As Aries is about new beginnings, the archetype of the initiator, warrior, & adventurer, its all about realizing the new. Striking out in new directions. These are some of the themes of the energetic overtones of this full moon period.
By odd coincidence a few hours before the moment of the Full Moon, the Moon will pass Uranus and Jupiter, the ancient ruler of Pisces at 28 degrees Picses. The planet of expansion and the planet of consciousness creating an opportunity for brilliance to enter the world through each one of us..Both planets are moving retrograde, giving an inner focus to their expressions. The character of the energy potential of the Moon passing by these two outer planets may be the sensation of a need (Moon)to gain some sort of new unusual direction or perception or to recover some deep knowledge of our true welcome at the feast table of our eternal nature & being…as infinite immortal children of the light…forever welcome… Expect the unexpected leading up to the event as the Moon approaches Uranus & Jupiter with a little anxiousness about our feast plans that should all resolve splendidly in the end…

What’s cool about the timing of the Full Moon events is
that if you happen to be in a place to see the actual
setting of the Sun you can then just turn around
and witness the glory of the Full Moon rising…
During the Meditation:
(if you’re busy or working at that time you can also join in later or earlier with those in another part of the world).

Here are 7 free things you can do to help promote this idea of Conscious Evolution Day
2.) JOIN if you haven’t done so already either or both facebook groups
( http://www.facebook.com/group.php?v=info&gid=42162535985 )
http://www.facebook.com/group.php?v=wall&gid=52380784168 )
3.) SEND to all the yummy people you know this info., this invitation, links to the facebook groups. &/or
http://daenglish.com/consciousevolutionday.htm ),
http://daenglish.com/masteralmanac.htm )
thank you for helping to support this work…
4.)SHARE your experience with others. All Are Welcome to share in the forums and pages of the fb groups…
leave a note of where you think you’ll be for the meditation; invite others to join you.
Then after the event to share more of what came to or through you…
5.)PARTICIPATE, 6.)GATHER, 7.)MEDITATE…On the day of the events gather your self in solitude,
or gather your friends about you and go within…
to your hidden place, your very own inner temple of silence, immortality, love, and divinity…
knowing you are contributing to the very sacred yet simple process of
practicing the acceleration of conscious evolution on Earth.
8. Host a talking feather circle with your peeps
before or after the meditation. We recently created
as sort of a 12 step program/support group for angels, would be angels, lightworkers, metaphysicians, and those that don’t need any title but get the message that the mission of this generation, this soul group, this age is to wake up stand up…and maybe open to sharing lessons, answers, practical knowledge, and trade secrets…
Recently published a note entitled:
How to hold a Talking Feather Circle…The Angel Academy

Conscious Evolution Day is based on the formula of effecting the whole world, the collective human unconscious,
by effecting the square root of 1% of the worlds population,
(google: 100TH MONKEY)
we recently figured out that
with the current world population around 6.8 billion
at this moment it only takes 8,249 people
with a shared conscious intent
to generate a standing wave/pulse
of conscious evolution on the planet.

The good news is that, given the number of members in
The Great Company of Souls
and the Conscious Evolution Day facebook groups
that we use to host the events,
if the theory and principles are true,
we are now only a third of the way to the magic number,
the tipping point of effecting,
if not perhaps even permanently altering the collective human unconscious
towards the fulfillment of our highest potential as individuals, as a species,
and thus positively effecting all life…consciously…for the first time in human history,
herstory, ourstory. Kind of our collective spiritual coming of age story based on the idea that knowledge is power is responsibility.

The idea for Conscious Evolution Day came to me during a 3 month period back in 1994 when I was going through
what I later came to call a " spiritual acceleration "
where I literally felt the sensation of my "spirit" speeding up…
The idea was to create a positive global meditation event
that would go around the world in a day
and change the world for the better forever.

Then in 1999 on the Sept. Equinox on top of the famous neolithic monument Silbury Hill I met a brother named Rory Macquisten
who contributed the information about the research into chaos theory. Specifically the experiments working with unconnected computers generating random sequences of numbers that suddenly went into sync and began generating the same sequences of numbers at key moments in human events over the past 20 years when a significant number of people were thinking about the same thing. The idea of Conscious Evolution Day is in essence an attempt to employ this same principle
to create a global accelerator of conscious evolution.
This standing wave/ pulse of energy follows the setting Sun
through each person meditating in their location on their own personal evolution for at least 15 minutes.
Resonating throughout the planet and as a standing wave of energy
creating a specific field of light, focused compassionate intent, and conscious evolution
Because our thoughts are energy structures, my theory is that once the group thought forms of conscious evolution are created through this meditation that a global standing wave of this energy remains and resounds forever on Earth that can then be tapped into or added to at any moment by anyone by going within oneself. Furthermore each time
we collectively recreate the global wave/pulse it becomes stronger, and accelerates the evolution of consciousness. In addition we will be accelerating both the number and frequency of the Conscious Evolution Day events over the next 2.5 years leading up to Dec. 21, 2012.

Laughter is The Best Medicine

We all know how challenging life can be!  One moment you’re ready for the biggest promotion of your life, and the next moment you may be clinging for your life in a hospital bed! Hey! It happens!  The one thing you can be sure of, is that no matter what life throws at you, if you approach adversity with a positive attitude, you WILL prevail! If you have faith in your Creator, and believe that you CAN overcome ANYTHING that you endure…NO MATTER what…there is absolutely NOTHING that can stop you.
My Friends…Prevailing May Take Time.  It does not happen overnight.  I know this from true experience. However; trust in the Universal Laws, trust in your faith, and trust in the truth, and in goodness. Remember to practice peace, hope, kindness, love, patience, forgiveness, gentleness and patience.  Above all; Remember that Laughter is The Best Medicine! Embrace Life, your families, your friends, and the children around you. They are after all the leaders of the next generation. We must teach them well.
I hope you will enjoy these anectdotes.
With Blessings,

7 reasons not to mess with children.

A little girl was talking to her teacher about whales.

The teacher said it was physically impossible for a whale to swallow a human because even though it was a very large mammal its throat was very small.

The little girl stated that Jonah was swallowed by a whale.

Irritated, the teacher reiterated that a whale could not swallow a human; it was physically impossible.

The little girl said, "When I get to heaven I will ask Jonah".

The teacher asked, "What if Jonah went to hell?"

The little girl replied, "Then you ask him".

A Kindergarten teacher was observing her classroom of children while they were drawing. She would occasionally walk around to see each child’s work..

As she got to one little girl who was working diligently, she asked what the drawing was.

The girl replied, "I’m drawing God."

The teacher paused and said, "But no one knows what God looks like."

Without missing a beat, or looking up from her drawing, the girl replied, "They will in a minute."

A Sunday school teacher was discussing the Ten Commandments with her five and six year olds.

After explaining the commandment to "honour" thy Father and thy Mother, she asked, "Is there a commandment that teaches us how to treat our brothers and sisters?"

Without missing a beat one little boy (the oldest of a family) answered, "Thou shall not kill."

One day a little girl was sitting and watching her mother do the dishes at the kitchen sink. She suddenly noticed that her mother had several strands of white hair sticking out in contrast on her brunette head.

She looked at her mother and inquisitively asked, "Why are some of your hairs white, Mom?"

Her mother replied, "Well, every time that you do something wrong and make me cry or unhappy, one of my hairs turns white."

The little girl thought about this revelation for a while and then said, "Momma, how come ALL of grandma’s hairs are white?"

The children had all been photographed, and the teacher was trying to persuade them each to buy a copy of the group picture.

"Just think how nice it will be to look at it when you are all grown up and say, ‘There’s Jennifer, she’s a lawyer,’ or ‘That’s Michael, He’s a doctor.’

A small voice at the back of the room rang out, "And there’s the teacher, she’s dead."

The children were lined up in the cafeteria of a Catholic elementary school for lunch. At the head of the table was a large pile of apples. The nun made a note, and posted on the apple tray:

"Take only ONE . God is watching."

Moving further along the lunch line, at the other end of the table was a large pile of chocolate chip cookies.

A child had written a note, "Take all you want. God is watching the apples."

Remember to allow yourself to laugh each day from deep within. This is your "inner smile."  Let this fire burn within you and spread like a crimson glow – gently warming your body. Each day, as your inner smile strengthens, your ‘shine’ will grow stronger – and peace will begin to spread within your heart, and among those who tread within your presence.

Things My Mom Forgot To Teach Me ‘Bout Raising Teens – Part One

Like any other night, she sauntered into my office, half of her bangs hanging over her eyes. I always hate when she does that! I always wondered if kids were hiding behind some kind of mask of insecurity and tried to remember if we did it in the 80’s.

The 80’s…. It doesn’t seem so long ago, yet it does seem like forever. Add the disability of brain injury with memory loss on it, and reaching for those memories is like wondering if slavery in America truly existed. (Yes, I had to figure that one out too.) As she trussed herself haphazardly into my blue lazyboy we started to talk about the day!

Like a mom I wanted her to be my best friend, yet at the same time, I was torn between the issue of today which was grounding her for leaving the house (yet again) without asking, or adding chores, which I already knew weren’t going to get done, or taking the more spiritual way out. This was actually a new technique discussed in theological psychology, which was discussing the issues and hoping something would actually stick. The concept being that repetitive learning and positive discussion and teaching would instill the desire to choose the right morals and values in the decisions one must make on a daily basis. It also provides an open line of communication between parent and child in that the forum provides for the child an open ground of safety. In the ‘Open Ground of Safety’ Forum, this means that the parent or child can speak completely with honesty without fear of repercussion. In our family, the term is called, “Conference.”

While we were talking about the issues, I made a comment about something I had read in an email. The item slightly offended me, and I asked a few other members of my family questions about their reactions given the same scenario…..She, the flaxen haired Diva, blue eyes flashing at me, feet now curled up under her on the lazy boy, and petting her spoiled miniature poodle. She then presumed to tell me how very wrong I was to be offended.

She, continued on, to remind me that she, at her very young but highly intellectual age, was experienced enough to know when I was not behaving properly, and over-reacting. This, my dear friends was her amazingly intellectual and strategic way to divert the attention from the issues of her manipulation and misbehavior of earlier hours thus using the manipulation of the accorded moment to remind me of my station as just the mother and keeper of things so they thinketh.

She was gently dismissed to prepare for bed, thus inspiring me with this next piece. As the computer next to me drags on, begging for its death. Everything the poor intellectual goddess touches turns to stone and immediately implodes or wishes it would. I’m told most parents also experience this. Gee, and here I thought I was alone!

Now, I chose this blog, to share with other mom’s the life of one mom whose 17-year-old daughter eats like a horse, but is a thin as a needle. Knows everything, and makes me feel like I have the intelligence of a beetle. If it’s not nailed down in my home, she’ll eat it. ( I swear!) Dishes are for washing, not looking at. She thinks the clothes in the other closet that are actually clean belong to her too. That’s the funny one, yet she is old enough to wash and dry her own clothes. If you enjoyed this blog, let me know, and I’ll continue to add onto it. I think we as parents forget that even though the calling of parenting is such a blessing, and the greatest joy we can have, those around us forget that it’s also the hardest job there is. It’s very underpaid, and underappreciated. Any mom whose kid makes it through high school and still uses, “please, thank-you, yes ma’am, or no sir” – should be commended… heck, any mom / or parent whose kids make it through high school should be commended!

Remember to enjoy a moment for yourself! You deserve it! You didn’t get here alone!

Blessings, Chelle

RE: Cancer Therapy

Re: Cancer

I have been teaching about cancer therapy for many years. Finally John Hopkins Hospital has published an article endorsing many of the alternative therapies that I have talked about. As a Naturopathic Consultant, it is wonderful to see such an esteemed institution such as John Hopkins finally recognize that Essiac does work as a supplement to fight cancer!

For almost ten years I have been telling everyone about the Essiac, and the importance of watching what they eat, especially in meats because of the hormones injected. I have been teaching all of this. I have gotten my Masters in Holistic Science, and Master of Holistic Healing Health Practitioner (MHHP) – I also have my credential as a minister, and my PhD in Metaphysics, and Divine Sciences.

The article is pasted below:

 1. Every person has cancer cells in the body. These cancer cells do not show up in the standard tests until they have multiplied to a few billion. When doctors tell cancer patients that there are no more cancer cells in their bodies after treatment, it just means the tests are unable to detect the cancer cells because they have not reached the detectable size.

2. Cancer cells occur between 6 to more than 10 times in a person’s lifetime.

 3. When the person’s immune system is strong, the cancer cells will be destroyed and prevented from multiplying and forming tumors.

4. When a person has cancer, it indicates the person has multiple nutritional deficiencies. These could be due to genetic, environmental, food and lifestyle factors.

5 To overcome the multiple nutritional deficiencies, changing diet and including supplements will strengthen the immune system

6. Chemotherapy involves poisoning the rapidly-growing cancer cells and also destroys rapidly-growing healthy cells in the bone marrow, gastrointestinal tract etc, and can cause organ damage, like liver, kidneys, heart, lungs etc.

 7. Radiation while destroying cancer cells also burns, scars and damages healthy cells, tissues and organs.

8. Initial treatment with chemotherapy and radiation will often reduce tumor size. However, prolonged use of chemotherapy and radiation do not result in more tumor destruction.

 9. When the body has too much toxic burden from chemotherapy and radiation the immune system is either compromised or destroyed, hence the person can succumb to various kinds of infections and complications.

10. Chemotherapy and radiation can cause cancer cells to mutate and become resistant and difficult to destroy. Surgery can also cause cancer cells to spread to other sites.

 11. An effective way to battle cancer is to starve the cancer cells by not feeding it with the foods it needs to multiply. CANCER CELLS FEED ON: a Sugar is a cancer-feeder. By cutting off sugar, it cuts off one important food supply to the cancer cells. Sugar substitutes like NutraSweet, Equal, Spoonful, etc are made with Aspartame and it is harmful.

A better natural substitute would be Manuka honey or molasses but only in very small amounts.

Table salt has a chemical added to make it white in color. Better alternative is Bragg’s aminos or sea salt.

 b. Milk causes the body to produce mucus, especially in the gastrointestinal tract. Cancer feeds on mucus. By cutting off milk and substituting with unsweetened soymilk, cancer cells are being starved.

c. Cancer cells thrive in an acid environment.

A meat-based diet is acidic and it is best to eat fish, and a little chicken rather than beef or pork. Meat also contains livestock antibiotics, growth hormones and parasites, which are all harmful, especially to people with cancer.

d. A diet made of 80% fresh vegetables and juice, whole grains, seeds, nuts, and a little fruit help put the body into an alkaline environment. About 20% can be from cooked food including beans. Fresh vegetable juices provide live enzymes that are easily absorbed and reach down to cellular levels within 15 minutes to nourish and enhance growth of healthy cells. To obtain live enzymes for building healthy cells try to drink fresh vegetable juice (most vegetables including bean sprouts) and eat some raw vegetable s 2 or 3 times a day. Enzymes are destroyed at temperatures of 104 degrees F (40 degrees C).

 e. Avoid coffee, tea, and chocolate, which have high caffeine. Green tea is a better alternative and has cancer-fighting properties. Water-best to drink purified water, or filtered, to avoid known toxins and heavy metals in tap water…

Distilled water is acidic, avoid it.

12. Meat protein is difficult to digest and requires many digestive enzymes. Undigested meat remaining in the intestines become putrefied and leads to more toxic build-up.

13. Cancer cell walls have a tough protein covering. By refraining from or eating less meat it frees more enzymes to attack the protein walls of cancer cells and allows the body’s killer cells to destroy the cancer cells.

14. Some supplements build up the immune system (IP6, Flor-ssence, Essiac, anti-oxidants, vitamins, minerals, EFAs etc.) to enable the body’s own killer cells to destroy cancer cells.

Other supplements like vitamin E are known to cause apoptosis, or programmed cell death, the body’s normal method of disposing of damaged, unwanted, or unneeded cells

15. Cancer is a disease of the mind, body, and spirit. A proactive and positive spirit will help the cancer warrior be a survivor. Anger, resentment, and bitterness put the body into a stressful and acidic environment. Learn to have a loving and forgiving spirit. Learn to relax and enjoy life.

 16. Cancer cells cannot thrive in an oxygenated environment. Exercising daily, and deep breathing help to get more oxygen down to the cellular level.

Oxygen therapy is another means employed to destroy cancer cells.

1. No plastic containers in micro.

 2. No water bottles in freezer.

3. No plastic wrap in microwave.

Johns Hopkins has recently sent this out in its newsletters. This information is being circulated at Walter Reed Army Medical Center as well. Dioxin chemicals cause cancer, especially breast cancer. Dioxins are highly poisonous to the cells of our bodies. Don’t freeze your plastic bottles with water in them as this releases dioxins from the plastic. Recently, Dr. Edward Fujimoto, Wellness Program Manager at Castle Hospital, was on a TV program to explain this health hazard. He talked about dioxins and how bad they are for us… He said that we should not be heating our food in the microwave using plastic containers. This especially applies to foods that contain fat. He said that the combination of fat, high heat, and plastics releases dioxin into the food and ultimately into the cells of the body. Instead, he recommends using glass, such as Corning Ware, Pyrex or ceramic containers for heating food. You get the same results, only without the dioxin. Therefore, things such as TV dinners, instant ramen and soups, etc., should be removed from the container and heated in something else. Paper isn’t bad but you don’t know what is in the paper. It’s just safer to use tempered glass, Corning Ware, etc. He reminded us that a while ago some of the fast food restaurants moved away from the foam containers to paper. The dioxin problem is one of the reasons. Also, he pointed out that

plastic wrap, such as Saran, is just as dangerous when placed over foods to be cooked in the microwave.

As the food is nuked, the high heat causes poisonous toxins to actually melt out of the plastic wrap and drip into the food.

Cover food with a paper towel instead.

When It’s Just Too Much

When It’s Just Too Much

April 16, 2009 San Antonian’s woke up to a much needed rainy day in our vastly populated colorful city! Most Antonian’s are eagerly looking forward to the upcoming Fiesta Week! For us, this is the week between April 16th and April 24th when the entire city of San Antonio PARTIES – or FIESTAS – It’s the annual citywide celebration to chase away the blues, welcome spring, and celebrate the city’s colorful diversity and culture with fun and events for the entire family!

What happens though, when the blues just don’t get chased away fast enough? There has been an alarming trend in adult depression with suicidal tendencies.  Just this morning as we woke up to the rain and anticipation for Fiesta; we also woke up to the news of a man jumping from a high bridge off Interstate-10 into traffic.  How awfully horrifying for this man who must have felt that there was nowhere else to turn.  What happens in our lives when it’s just too much? How can we deal with depression? This is an age-old question.

As a minister and a naturopathic consultant, I have come to understand a great deal about depression.  There are many underlying roots that cause a person’s depression, and I truly believe that most people are afraid to seek professional care, which is why depression escalates and goes untreated. Clients need a safe zone in order to speak freely, and not feel threatened. They need to feel that what they are expressing is in total confidence; that if they express emotions of suicide, they won’t be ‘locked up.’

In addition to having a safe zone to express one’s self, it is also important for the person who is depressed to seek ways to exercise more often.  Find ways to think thoughts that are more positive each day, start to pray, eat healthier, and take supplements.  These are some ways to begin the path to overcome depression. In the safe zone with a counselor, one can then begin addressing the issues that seem so overwhelming.  It is also my belief that more than 45 minutes should be taken with a client because through my research it takes just AT 45 minutes to just begin opening up.  I recommend working with each client a minimum of one hour and 15 min.  Perhaps if our society lent a more compassionate hand towards people suffering with depression, more patients would not become so overwhelmed.  We may see a decrease in suicides, and a decrease in depression and an increase in the healing rate without the prescription meds, which have such harmful effects.

A Moment of Solitude

A Moment in Solitude

Spring is upon us, and throughout much of the country at 5 in the afternoon, many people are just getting out of work, rushing home to family – talking on cell phones – trying to figure out what to make for dinner. In some families arguing is erupting, and stress is at an all time high. Fatigue from the long, hard day is setting in. Let’s switch gears.

My kids just walked in the door. Their school day has ended. There is a light breeze flowing through the window of my home office and in the distance the ice cream truck is beginning his rounds. The wind caresses my cheek – I turn the a/c off during the day to conserve energy. My chimes are gently bumping eachother and the evening birds are singing ever so merrily outside. They are awaiting their sunset sojourn towards the inner part of town to nest.
As my daughter came through the door today, she related to me the horrific trials of her day. I sat in astonishment and listened as teenage friends were discussing suicide, and depression, and each of her friends turn to her for help. She is overwhelmed. She is heading to meditate.
We are toiling in a society of teens who too quickly reach for instantaeous gratification, and have become so self absorbed – without recognition of the consequences to their own spiritual growth and those around them. But, this is yet, for another day.
I now find myself finally in my moment of solitude, recalling the conversation; thinking about the rest of women and men my age, going home to their families, I marvel at the moment that you are taking at reading this.
Please take a few moments to focus on the photo below.
Take some time…. your moment of solitude, and focus on this image. Look at the small, crisp blades of life still in the tips of the plant, and the absolute beauty of the snow as it ever so gently lays upon it. I was mesmerized when I took this photo. I was amazed at the perfection of life that God creates and holds in Hands ever so gently even when there is such chaos in the world. This photo reminds me of His perfection.  Doesn’t it just make your mind drift? Isn’t the thought just awe-inspiring?

In the background, notice how softly, and gently, and one can almost sense, how quietly, the snow is falling.

It’s with moments like these, and images like this, that remind me there is hope. Whenever the wind makes it in through the window, and caresses my cheek during the day, I feel like it’s God, just stopping by, to say hello. It is moments like these, that bring smiles to my face, and I hope, as you read the blogs; smiles will come to your face, and warmth to your heart!

When the kids are presenting challenges, or life is tossing deadlines, just remember that it will ALL be there tomorrow. I encourage you to take your moment now, and spend a few minutes with yourself, or your loved one. Once you have your moment of solitude, you can close your eyes for a few minutes, stretch, refresh your mind, if you are religous, you might pray for strength, encouragement, or guidance. I know from experience, you will have more energy to finish out the rest of the day and evening with a better positive mental attitude. You benefit yourself, and those around you! Hey, it’s only five minutes…. Aren’t YOU worth it?

I’m outta here for today–

Time to go be a mom! I have this nutty dog looking at me like she’s never been fed!

C’ya all on the flip side!

"He insulted me, he hurt me, he defeated me, he robbed me."
Those who think such things will not be free from hate.

Our light shines brighter from within when we can free our minds from anger and hate. When we can learn to forgive those who transgress against us. This is a major part of our evolution towards enlightenment and healing! It is recommended by many healers to practice yoga and mediation each day as a part of growth and spiritual healing.

Find a calm place to sit. One that is quiet, with little to no distractions.  Sit in a comfortable position and close your eyes. Allow your mind and body to relax by taking some deep breaths and let your mind wander.  Notice whether or not certain phrases come from your heart that express what you are feeling, or what you wish most deeply for yourself or in your life – not just for today, but also in an ongoing basis.

It is ideal to focus on phrases in your mind that are important yet general enough that you can desire them for all of life, for yourself and all beings everywhere. I personally ask for my light to continue to shine, for my spirit to continue to strengthen and grow so I may heal. Typically, others focus on things like, “May I be happy,” or “May I live in safety, may I be healthy and live with ease.” I ask for peace and unity among mankind, and forgiveness among each other. I am sharing this because I believe that if we can all begin to think in peace, we can start an evolution of peace.

You can gently repeat your phrases. Allow your mind to rest in the phrases. Focus on them. If you find that your attention has wandered some, that is okay, simply refocus on your meditation and calmly breathe and think of the phrases you want for yourself and your life.

You can also call into your mediation thoughts of the lives of those around you. Think about the lives of those you love. Are they having difficult times? Focus on them. Send them your energy and your love and blessings. They will feel you. We have a powerful Universe.  =) By getting a feeling for their presence, you can bring them to you and send them your loving kindness, thoughts, and energy.

When we connect into the loved ones and into the phrases, we open ourselves to the possibility of intimate loving on a spiritual level, and ultimately we are able to be open to all beings everywhere without merit.  All people, all creatures, all those near and far, all beings on the earth, we can connect into with our peace and meditation. “May all beings be happy, live in peace, be healthy.”

With meditation, you can rejuvenate your mind, body, and soul. You can reenergize, rebuild hopes and desires by extending the heart without exclusion. Through realigning your thinking, your healing, and your energies, you can heal old wounds, set new goals and aspirations, and allow your own light to shine.

When you are finished with your own meditation, open your eyes, and practice taking your newfound energy with you throughout your day!

Wishing you love and light and blessings,
